THE RAT PACK… A CELEBRATION OF FRIENDSHIP. THE SONGS. THE STORIES. In Las Vegas, Nevada during the 1960’s, there once lived three of the most handsome, funny and talented entertainers in the world. They could do anything they dreamed up. They were as naughty as they wanted to be and they had the world wrapped around their fingers. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. lived their lives like kings. They shared unique and very special friendships because of it. To the world, it looked like the fellas lived a non-stop cycle of highballs and hangovers. But in reality, they faced many tough situations.
Former CBC Radio Host Tim Tamashiro brings a new approach to the stories of swinging Las Vegas with his new show, When You’re Smiling. He’ll tell you all about the special friendships of “The Summit”. You’ll hear the crazy stories and enjoy the songs of the three most talented rascals to ever put on tuxedos. Tim promises great songs, cold drinks and bad jokes.
